Anger

Ephesians 4:25-32

  1. There are two types of anger (v. 26a)

    • Anger is a natural response to wrong

    • Our anger is corrupted by sin

    • Anger is destructive

  2. Our anger must be managed (vv. 26b-27; 29)

    • There is a time for anger, but that time is short

    • Satan wants to use our anger

    • Our words matter

  3. Anger must be paired with mercy (vv. 31-32)

    • God gives us an example of mercy to follow

    • We can show mercy because we've been shown mercy
