God’s Gift of Love
(Jacob and Rachel)

  • Discuss how you would feel if you were each person in the bible story. Jacob? Leah? Rachel?

  • How did God use Leah in His plan?

Family Activity:
Find some friends to join your family in a big rendition of “Father Abraham.” Choose a leader to guide everyone through the motions. Talk about how Jacob’s twelve sons were part of Abraham’s family and how we become part of that same family through Jesus.

Family Activity:
Play a game with your kids. They must complete seven simple tasks to earn a prize. Discuss how it would feel to get tricked with a different prize. Remind them that Jesus is the best prize, and we don’t have to earn His love!
