God was with Jospeh in Egypt, and Joseph was given a big job and lots of authority. God used Joseph’s position to help many people. When Jesus left heaven to come to earth, He gave up His position of honor so He could save people from sin.

Family Activities:

  • Collect Bibles to donate to a prison ministry.

  • Consider raising money to give to an organization that provides beds for orphans and others in need.

  • Pray for our nation’s leaders.


Younger Kids

Bake bread together as a family. Give different members different roles, like measuring, mixing, kneading, or shaping the dough. Talk about the baker and cupbearer. Discuss how God used them in His plan.
